What is it about the Safari Lounge? We always seem to have fuck ups. Some of them of our own making but this time the P.A cut out. Notes to ourselves, ALWAYS have sound checks at this place. Not enough power points, low power bass amp, 30 year old tranny amp with no volume knob that was too loud, Could not hear the singer - we need to hear our singer.

It probably was not as bad as  I thought but compared to last weeks gig at the parlour, this was on the other end of the scale. Ok going on first to a cold audience does not help - we were a last minute replacement so what the heck!

We escaped as fast as we played!
